Bridges Intergenerational Program

Our Bridges Program is almost over.  My ELA class has just finished their last session with their seniors.  What a great experience for everyone involved!  Please enjoy some pictures from the past 5 sessions.

Students and their seniors brainstormed and this is what they came up with...

   *a state of mind

   *you're only as old as you feel

   *age is just a number

   *when you are 112

   *old is when someone else is older than you

   *when you are not physical any more

   *when you are wise and have patience

Session 6 "Celebrations Reunion"...will be held on June 23rd at the Senior Center

Exploring the Immigrant Experience

Students had a great time during our in house field trip with the Lowell Mills.  For 90 minutes students were able to examine the experiences of many of the ethnic groups that settled in Lowell using oral histories and artifacts.
