Halloween Parade
Francis Wyman's annual Halloween parade was a huge success, as always! I don't remember being this creative with my costume when I was their age!
Pumpkin Patch
The student's in my ELA class have been working on identifying character traits. First, while reading Because of Winn-Dixie, and then with a picture book of their choice to use for their pumpkin project. Student's characters ranged from some classics like, Franklin, Santa, Pink-a-licious, and Max from Where the Wild Things Are. All the teachers and administrators were impressed with the student's creativity and effort! Way to go!!!

Fun at the Franklin Park Zoo
The students had a chilly, but beautiful day for our field trip to the Franklin Park Zoo! We took a chance and decided to bring four of our student i-Pads so that the students could take pictures and video tape the animals that they chose for their animal behavior research projects. Some groups had up to 105 pictures!!! Students have been busy using their research to create a group project on Book Creator. Look for these exciting projects to be available for viewing in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime enjoy some pictures!
