A Great Beginning to the 2014/15 School Year!
It was great meeting your children this week! Everyone settled in nicely and we were able to get in lots of "getting to know me" activities! The students were troopers during the weeks extreme heat. They all had positive attitudes and smiles on their faces! I am completely impressed with their manners, I heard "please" and "thank you" all week!
Our specialist schedule is on the back of the student's homework folder. However, in case it ever gets lost I will post it here.
Monday and Wednesday...MUSIC
Tuesday ... ART
Thursday and Friday... P.E.
The big difference between third and fourth grade is independence. Students have an agenda and are responsible for writing their homework in their agenda. Their homework will go back and forth in the blue folder. Students should bring their agenda and blue HW folders with them daily.
Students were told their math and ELA teachers on Friday. We will begin switching on Monday. If you have any questions on how your child was placed, please contact their appropriate teacher.
I look forward to meeting you in a few weeks at open house on September 23rd. If you can't make the open house, let me know so I can send home the information that is shared with parents during the open house.
